Quality Control Technician -Paint (Night Shift) Whirlwind’s goal is to provide fabricated structures for families, congregations and businesses in the most efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment. The Loading Inspector’s role is critical to this process because he/she ensures the most effective quality measures are taken at all times. This position is for Night Shift Job Responsibilities: Ensure parts are properly cleaned prior to paint Ensure job number matches piece numbers Ensure Labeling is correct prior to paint Ensure parts are going through pre-paint preparations Utilize multi-inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, WFT gauge, dry thickness gauge, etc. Responsible for inspection of painted products Ensure compliance with manufacturing drawings and specifications Ensure parts and pieces are labeled correctly for shipping Utilize computer software programs Problem solving skills Job Requirements: QC Inspector duties, familiar with a general Quality control Department set-up At least 1 year experience in the Manufacturing/ QC Department work environment with the capabilities of lifting over 50lbs., Able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings Perform basic math in all units of measure.
