Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:30am-1pmIdeal candidate will have general knowledge of Emergency Generator Systems.SUMMARYMaintains working order of the Emergency Power Supply System (EPSS).Impacts the testing, maintenance, and repair of Joint Commission regulated Emergency Power Supply System equipment and components.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESTests, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs generators and associated equipment to comply with the Joint Commission and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements for healthcare facilities. Performs monthly, annual, and tri-annual tests to ensure reliability of EPSS. Conducts weekly generator room inspections. Performs monthly fuel inventory to comply with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements for leak detection. Runs and monitors generators to support project and preventative maintenance outages.Other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalent. Eight years of experience in maintenance and repair of generators.Licensure/Certification Preferred One or more of the following: Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license and eligible to drive State and institutional vehicles.
