Vaco has a full time opportunity for a Lead .NET Developer with a client in Houston, TX. Currently our client is remote, but we are only considering candidates local to Houston, TX as our client will eventually be back in the office and no relocation will be considered.

This role is for a true technologist who enjoys developing with cutting edge technologies and building really cool products.

Requirements:

10+ years of software development experience with .NET and JavaScript technologies
10+ years of experience with relational database design and SQL programming
Must have experience with cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS) platforms and PaaS/SaaS concepts
8+ years of experience with object-oriented application design and development
6+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies and best practices
5+ years of experience with web-based application UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
2+ years of experience with NoSQL database and/or key-value data stores (e.g. MongoDB, CouchDB)
2+ years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
2+ years of experience working with messaging technologies (e.g., NServiceBus, Amazon SQS, MSMQ)

Preferred experience includes:

Data visualization technologies (e.g., Kibana, Grafana)
Version/source control technologies (e.g., Git, Octopus)
