Sr. Data Scientist - B2B Marketing

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Marketing Data Science team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting complex data research and analysis to support our B2B marketing goals. A successful candidate will be skilled in orchestrating large datasets, sourced from multiple platforms (CRM, CDP, GA, etc.), to extract insights and develop algorithms that improve marketing efficacy and drive ROI.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and data mining tools to identify key insights and trends.

Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, identify potential leads, and optimize marketing campaigns.

Campaign Optimization: Use data analysis to optimize marketing campaigns, including targeting, messaging, and channel selection, to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

A/B Testing and advanced experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests, identify quasi experimental opportunities, and leverage causal modeling to evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing strategies and tactics.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align data-driven marketing strategies with overall business goals.

Data Storytelling: Communicate actionable insights from analyses to non-technical stakeholders to guide optimization and business growth decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, or equivalent) preferred.

Master of Science Degree in a business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, or equivalent) preferred.

5+ years of experience in a data science related role

Ability to execute core analytics methodologies (regression analysis, factor analysis, decision trees, cluster analysis, etc.)

Solid proficiency in SQL/Python/R

Experience with Alteryx, Snowflake, Tableau, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and Salesforce

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and best practices.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
