Surgery Scheduling Specialist – Digestive Specialists Clinic – Full-Time, Days Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Surgery Scheduling Specialist Work location: 1325 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 890, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Digestive Specialists Clinic Highlights:

Here’s What You Need

High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)

Previous Surgery/Procedure Scheduling within a Healthcare environment (strongly preferred)

2 Years related experience in Healthcare environment (preferred)

Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

Requires strong customer skills

Good communication skills

Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism

A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Surgery Scheduling Specialist Process

Schedules all outpatient medical procedures, and motility studies ordered by the physician

Conducts insurance verification to received current benefits including deductibles, co-insurance, out of pocket, and copay amounts

Conducts physician pre-certification to ensure coverage for medical procedures and studies

Coordinates and ensures necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc., is arranged prior to scheduled procedure

Schedules any necessary follow-up appointments

Performs other duties as assigned
