Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Protocol / Events Representative, Staff - Level 4 at our Fort Worth Texas Location.What You Will Be DoingProvides coordinated support for both internal and external business-related critical customer and employee engagements (e.g., facility visits, social functions, banquets, conferences, large ceremonies) within and outside the United States.Research, coordinate, and arrange for as required, complex logistics for simultaneous events and engagements to include hotel accommodations and services, air and ground transportation, communication support, facilities support, customer entertainment, passport and VISA clearances for international events, program functions, and similar activities.Coordinating with key stakeholders, advising on protocol and compliance topics, managing vendors, and creating staffing plans, budgets and after-action reports as required.Will occasionally require working in the early morning hours, evenings and/or weekends. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.- Basic knowledge of Lockheed Martin products and mission- Experience with organizing, planning, managing, problem solving and executing multiple projects simultaneously- Skilled at working across multiple organizations, locations and levels of leadershipDesired Skills:- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education- Basic protocol and diplomacy knowledge- Experience communicating with executive leadership and high-level customers- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and professional presentation at all times- Experience with venue management- Basic knowledge and acceptance of defense contractor standards- Experience vetting logistical contracts through legal processes- Demonstrated project management & financial management experience- Experience with international cultures who form our customer base- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment- Familiarity with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, uniformed U.S military services, NATO and allied forcesSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
