Accounting Clerk

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our finance team.Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.

Perform data entry tasks to accurately record financial transactions into the accounting system.

Assist in the maintenance of accounting records and files, both electronic and physical, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding accounting-related matters in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with team members to support various accounting tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
