This new building will bring the latest in obstetric care to North Texas as well as a new breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and a 10-bed expansion to our emergency department.Here's What You'll NeedAssociate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred (RN’s hired after January 2017 require BSN within 2 years of start date.).Five (5) years of experience as a Medical Surgical or Critical Care RN is required.(5) years Critical Care or ED RN experience is preferred.Trauma hospital experience preferred.Trauma program lead or trauma program development experience a plus.Texas Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required.Current BLS and ACLS upon hired is preferred.TNCC upon hire is preferred.Project Management experience is preferred. (Six Sigma)Skills for SuccessEffective leadership and interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills (English); advanced knowledge of current professional and health care issues and nursing practice. Experience in project management. Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.Here's What You’ll DoThe RN Trauma Coordinator provides leadership and vision for the trauma program in terms of operations, services that are consistent with best practices and evidence- based care to ensure an effective and efficient trauma program. The essential job duties of this position are: Collaborate with staff in determining best outcomes for patient population. Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support the implementation, and ongoing evaluation of quality patient care Analyzes data, coordinates practice changes and suggest opportunities for improvement. Researches and produces benchmarking reports and studies which will assist in continuous improvement targets, core measures and quality initiatives. Oversees and facilitates care and follow-up of patients.
