About Us:
Paramount Development, Inc. is expanding into Texas with a new electrical service division led by an experienced electrical contractor who previously owned and operated a successful electrical contracting company in Wisconsin for 25 years. We are building a strong foundation with national accounts and commercial clients and are seeking a dependable Journeyman Electrician who wants to grow with us from the ground up.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys service work, is comfortable working independently, and appreciates flexibility. We are launching our Texas operations carefully and conservatively, so workload will increase as our client base grows.
Starting hours will vary depending on job flow, with a clear path to full-time work + overtime potential in the future.
Responsibilities:
Perform commercial and light industrial electrical service work
Specializes in residential electric remodeling
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems
Install circuits, panels, lighting, devices, and equipment
Complete work orders and small projects independently
Provide customer-friendly communication and represent the company professionally
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Follow NEC and Texas licensing requirements, code regulations, etc.
24-hour Emergency Service Availability
Physically able to climb ladders, lift 50 pounds, work in inclement weather, etc.
Requirements:
Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (5+ Years Experience)
Extensive experience with service upgrades/new services on Residential and Commercial application
Clean driving record
Must pass a background check consistent with Texas and Federal law
Strong troubleshooting skills for residential and commercial services
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
Professional communication and customer service mindset
Reliable, punctual, trustworthy
