Hours: 7:00am - 10-12 hour days.

Monday - Saturday

REQUIREMENTS:

Load sludge or dirt on trucks for transport in a safe and appropriate manner.

Must be able operate loader (lift, lower, tilt, bucket move forward and reverse loader to pick up).

Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

Perform other yard activities such as maintain containment pad along with additional variety of tasks.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.

Complete checklists. Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Check oil levels and tires and make adjustments as necessary. Grease bearings.

Clean and refuel equipment daily

Clean spills.

Responsible for maintaining as required and maintaining stockpiles, cleans yard and work areas.

Observe the jobsite and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be required and visually checks material being produced for compliance with specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with heavy equipment, Komatsu 320W-420WA front-end loader, dozers (320,380,D5 ect.) and forklift.

Must have a valid Texas driver’s license.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Read, write and speak English

Perform a variety of tasks simultaneously, accurately and with repeated interruptions without loss of focus or efficiency.

Must perform thorough pre and post shift inspections.

Complete tasks within required timeframes and meet established deadlines.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual or dangerous situations.

Work independently under general direction, within the parameters of company policies and procedures.

Operate equipment to maximum performance and cost effective.

Safely operate equipment in inclement weather conditions.

Understanding of computerized controls and electronics.

Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations is a plus.

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

The responsibilities of this position require the ability to stand and walk continuously, climb frequently, bend occasionally, and lift or carry up to 75 pounds.

SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED DURING INTERVIEW AS IT WILL BE DETERMINED BY EXPERIENCE.
