Machine Operator Trainee- Coil Coating $22.57/hr M-Th Full Time

What are we looking for?We are looking for a hardworking dedicated person to come in at an entry level and learn how to be an operator of equipment that takes large aluminum metal coils and applies paint coatings in one of our 32 signature colors. The Machine Operator Trainee will:

Work directly under an Operator in the Entry, Coating, or Payoff areas

Assist with the operation of the machinery

Learn techniques for operating continuous feed machinery

Learn quality control standards and practices

Learn the skills and techniques needed to be promoted to Machine Operator in the Entry, Coating, or Payoff areas

Skills & Requirements

Basic understanding of warehouse operations, and safety rules

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb

Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift 100 pounds throughout a workday

Willingness to operate a forklift and pallet jack after training

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Handle petty cash as needed

Any forklift experience a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Days: 6 am-6 pm - Some Fridays required

Nights: 6 pm-6 am - Some Fridays required

Rotating: Rotating between the two schedules

Salary: $22.57/hr (base + bonus), plus benefits too!
