Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks

- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces

- Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply coats of paint or other finishes

- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect them from paint

- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers

- Clean up work areas and remove hazardous materials after completing the job

- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while performing duties

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a painter in construction or similar field

- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to painting

- Knowledge of trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills to understand project requirements and provide updates

- Experience with fixture installation and remodeling projects is a plus

Pay: From $1,000.00 per month. It may varies depending on number of jobs worked.

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed
