Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you'll love this jobThe position of Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager, Travel Programs is part of the Team Member Travel team within the People organization. You will contribute to travel technology innovations that will create a better experience for our team members, as well as maintain vendor relationships, reporting, and aid in budget preparation.What you'll do
This position is responsible for managing ad hoc Team Member Travel projects in conjunction with IT, Payroll, Customer Experience, among others
Track project progress of deliverables and milestones to ensure timelines are met
Contributes to the cocreation of Product Vision and Product Strategy tied to Portfolio goals
Write and refine business requirements
Assist in preparing business case justifications (both large and small scale)
Coordinates with other product team members to manage product dependencies and increments of value
Communicates regularly on OKRs, product roadmap, planned development, upcoming releases, and areas requiring leadership’s attention
Uses data to define baselines, measure outcomes, share insights, order backlog items, etc.
Assist in conducting competitive benchmarking, presents new technologies/solutions, identifies unmet/underserved need
Work with Finance to support budget preparation and oversight throughout the year
Work with People Analytics to support reporting for Team Member Travel
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent Project Management/Delivery experience
3 years of experience in Project Management/Delivery
3+ years of airline experience
Experience in storytelling using PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Knowledge of ticketing processes
Knowledge of Agile and Rally methodologies
PMP or other equivalent project management certification
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Familiarity with product domain, such as business model, constraints, regulations, user experiences, etc.
Experience mapping out timelines and tracking progress of milestones
Analytical/data familiarity
Interpersonal skills demonstrated through experience developing and growing internal, external, and cross-functional relationships
Ability to influence peers, leaders, and multiple stakeholders to drive results and meet timelines across multiple project and program initiatives
Collaborative, solutions-focused, organized, true-to-deadlines, and adaptable to an ever-changing environment
Strong communication skills both written and oral with ability to understand how to adjust communications to the audience
Experienced and confident in managing multiple streams of work simultaneously
Ability to manage competing priorities to effectively deliver results
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
Ability to analyze data and present the story to influence decision making
