About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):09The Team:The goal of a Middle Office Sr Specialist, Investment Operations is to oversee Trade Settlement client relationships. Provide excellent customer service and loan settlement services to our growing client base while adhering to strict deadlines and targets given. The Middle Office group takes on unique clients and projects that do not fit into the core business offering of WSO Services. This group is responsible for client-specific bank debt trade management.Responsibilities and Impact:
Oversee client portfolio(s)/Agency trades in our loan Trade Closing outsourcing services
Proactively manage and effectively communicate with internal and external clients
Manage counterparty's expectations to receive and review primary/secondary par and distressed trade documentation
Coordinate trade closings among clients, counterparties, and agents – may include coordination with legal counsel for distressed and/or participations
Review trade documents, including trade confirm, assignment agreements, and funding memos for discrepancies prior to settlement including using third-party systems
Manage outstanding trades and maintain comments per client expectation
Deliver closing packets to custodians and clients before the stated deadlines
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,289 to $91,872. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. 3 years of syndicated bank loan settlement/management experience preferable
BA / BS or equivalent work experience in the financial field
Knowledge of par and distressed loans and the documentation
Knowledge of trade fee calculations
Ability to read and interpret credit agreements
Experience with daily loan transactions
Exposure to ClearPar/VTS/Markit WSO systems a plus
