Description We are in search of a Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on analyzing and interpreting financial data to assess the creditworthiness of our clients. This involves undertaking credit reviews with full financial statement analysis. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and process a large backlog of credit reviews Navigate financial statements proficiently, even in instances where some statements may not be available Demonstrate expert comprehension of financial data to make effective and accurate credit assessments Analyze creditors' financial statements and other data to determine the expected returns and risk of granting credit Conduct industry, economic, and collateral analysis Monitor industry trends and economic market conditions Collaborate with an existing team of credit analysts and contribute to common team goals Use MS Office tools, particularly Excel, and database systems effectively Understand lending procedures and credit legislation Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Credit Analysis and Credit Review Proven ability to Analyze Financial Statements Knowledgeable about Debt and Approve Credit processes Experience in Banking Credit Analysis and Commercial Lending Ability to handle and interpret Financial data Familiarity with Credit Approvals and Credit Underwriting processes Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Strong decision-making skills and detail-oriented approach Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior capacity.
