Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday and 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST on variable Saturdays including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need.We offer 2 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise daily / weekly / monthly activities of a team members

Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met

Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.

Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment

Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action

You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience with analyzing and solving customer problems in an office, claims, OR customer service environment

1+ years of supervisory / leadership experience

Experience with working in the VBA (Veterans Benefits Admin) customer service group

Experience with WebApp system

Computer skills with using Microsoft Word (create and edit documents), Microsoft Excel (sort, filter, and work within tables), Microsoft PowerPoint (create and present slides), Microsoft Outlook (schedule meetings and calendar), which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

Ability to work any of our full - time (40 hours / week), 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST from Monday - Friday and 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST on variable Saturdays including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need

Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of customer service experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The annual range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $48,300 - $94,500 per year.
