Business Intelligence Analyst

Analyze and interpret business data across multiple platforms, working closely with the sales team, upper management, and trusted business partners to build business models and proposed initiatives to drive strategic growth for construction of beautiful, quality, carbon-neutral homes.

Duties include monitoring, analyzing, and synthesizing marketing, sales, and financial data and providing recommendations for adjustments to budgets, marketing and sales activities, and other aspects of business operations to maintain strong sales growth and maximized profitability; working with and analyzing data from financial statements including P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements; building and maintaining sales/marketing and financial models, as well as other business intelligence tools to run analytics on an ongoing and ad hoc basis; synthesizing, cleansing, and monitoring marketing, financial, sales, and other operating data received from various internal teams; using statistical tools to interpret data sets, observing trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics; developing reports for internal and external stakeholders; sharing and interpreting analytics with management and team members; presenting models and recommendations to management and third parties; providing required analytics to meet organizational deadlines; tracking and analyzing portfolio, capital structure, and operating performance relative to peers; performing project feasibility analysis; using MS Excel for modeling and scenario analysis; working closely with the Accounting Manager, lenders, investors, and private equity to ensure data integrity across entire portfolio; preparing weekly and monthly lending reports for management; preparing lending documentation as needed; identifying potential new investment opportunities and risks based on business intelligence; developing relationships and establishing trusted partner status with stakeholders, lenders, investors, and private equity; and handling other special projects and analyses as assigned.

Position Requires:

(1) Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or closely-related business field. Employer will accept foreign equivalent degrees.

(2) 24 months of experience in a position focused on marketing, finance, and/or business data analytics to include:

(a) Working with and analyzing data from financial statements including P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;

(b) Performing project feasibility analysis;

(c) Using MS Excel for modeling and scenario analysis; and

(d) Presenting models and recommendations to management and third parties.

(3) Periodic local travel to project construction sites to ensure that data reflects real-world conditions.
