Experienced Maintenance Technician

Oberg Properties is growing, and our maintenance team is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to the team. Prior commercial maintenance experience is a plus, but not required. We seek proficiency in basic maintenance and general repair across various areas, including: Electrical, Plumbing, Grounds keeping, Carpentry, Drywall, Paint, Exterior Structure and Facility Repair. The ideal candidate should be capable of coordinating and completing multiple maintenance projects efficiently. Basic computer skills are required as this job allows you to dispatch from home. You must be able to communicate via email and update work orders with photos and job progress. Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions is essential. Knowledge of and ability to work with hand and power tools is necessary. Having your own tools is a plus, but tools can be provided as needed. You must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) performing various manual labor tasks in building maintenance, landscaping, and irrigation. Operating and maintaining power tools and mechanical equipment. Conducting light vehicle and equipment maintenance as needed. Assisting with general property cleanup, including trash and debris removal from grounds, buildings, and warehouse areas. Power washing sidewalks, buildings, and other surfaces as needed. Conducting general maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as assigned. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Performing regular equipment maintenance. Maintaining cleanliness in warehouse spaces. Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities.
