Home Health CareGiver

Mature Caregiver Needed to Care for client in their home. The family is requesting a Caregiver for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (total of 16 hours/week).

Seniors Helping Seniors is a growing non-medical in-home care service agency, looking for mature adult caregivers who are loving, compassionate, patient, and friendly to care and assist in making a difference in the lives of others. You will be part of a team that strives to make life a little easier by providing high-quality services in the comfort of our client’s home.

Location include: Austin zip code 78724

Job duties may include:

-Personal Care- showering, dressing, toileting, mobility(caregivers with previous experience)

-Companionship

-Homemaker services- meal preparation, Light housekeeping, Laundry, etc.

-Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family or their favorite restaurant

-Medication reminders

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

-Being a caring empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual

-Enjoy working with the senior population

-Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan

-Must be able to bend, stretch and lift (approximately 15lbs).

-Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job

-Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS

-Experience in the field or with family members

-Have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
