Personal caregiver(s) for female with Cerebral Palsy:

Hours: Weekdays M – F 9a - 3p (one individual)

Pay: $18/hour + bonuses based on performance; rate negotiable based on experience

My name is Sydney and I am 36 years old. I use a power wheelchair and live at home with my mom in Central Austin. I currently work part-time from home and need assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities: Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; administer medications as prescribed; assist with meal preparation and serving meals; assist with transfers; provide companionship and engage in activities; perform light housekeeping related to the care environment.

Qualifications: US Citizen or Green Card holder required for this governmental supported position; valid driver’s license; pass a background check; become CPR certified (there are online courses available); good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with my family and healthcare team; reliable, trustworthy, and punctual; previous caregiver experience is helpful but not required.

I am looking for someone who is patient, has a good sense of humor, and possesses a strong sense of empathy with a positive attitude. I have a cat (Pip) so animal lovers are a plus!
