Certified Medical Assistant

Established family practice office in far South West Austin is seeking a dependable, experienced certified medical assistant to add to our nursing staff. At least one year working in a physician office performing clinical duties is required.

Skills needed: triaging patient phone calls, administering injections and vaccines, performing EKG's, phlebotomy skills, knowledge of insurance referrals/auths.

You should be able to handle all aspects of patient phone calls including discussing lab results and medications.

Applicants need to be comfortable working on a computer and be familiar working with an EMR.

The right person will have a positive attitude and a pleasant personality, enjoy working with patients of all ages and enjoy being a part of a team.

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends. Salary starts at $18.50/hr.
