Job Title: AM Sous Chef

Location: Co Rd. 172 & McNeil, Round Rock, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 5am (earlier start times may be required based on volume). End time between 12pm-1pm, depending on the day.

Pay: Starts at $20/hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team! As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the planning and directing of food preparation and culinary activities

Supervising kitchen staff and ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

Updating menu items and creating new and innovative dishes

Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed

Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and delivered on time

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure

Flexibility to start early and adjust to varying end times

Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
