Songbird Food Truck hiring a full time line cook

Full time, open availability required. Looking for a talented and enthusiastic line cook

Songbird is a food truck located at Meanwhile Brewing in South Austin. We specialize in fried chicken sandwiches and smash burgers using seasonal ingredients. We have a tight crew that takes pride in the their work and supporting one another.

Benefits Include:

4 day work week

Average $25-27 with tips

Shift meals and drinks

Job Duties:

Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Complete daily/weekly check lists

Stock work station

Prep food for service

Follow provided recipes

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Can stand on feet for long periods of time

Be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment

Must have food handlers certification

Basic kitchen skills and understanding

A drivers license is a plus

Comfortable taking orders and interacting with guests

Able to follow recipes and direction

Bilingual a plus
