We are honored to be named one of Austin?s Best Places to Work 2020 by Austin Business Journal & Inc. 5000The Management Consulting Sales Director will be responsible for generating sales and opportunities for 9Gauge Partners In the Austin, TX area. You will have the responsibility to pursue clients by prospecting/hunting and closing deals, and by working to build an ecosystem of service providers and PE Groups to provide 9Gauge services including Accounting, Finance, Technology and M&A needs. You will be supported by your 9Gauge Management Consultants who will assist in discovery meetings to help ensure we are proposing the best solutions for our prospects and clients.HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE SUCCESS OF 9GAUGEPrimary responsibility is to sell Accounting and Finance solutions and related services to prospective clients. Prepare proposals and close sales. 5+ years sales experience including professional services solution selling experience preferred. Successful track record of meeting or exceeding quota. Ability to engage with C level executives. Must be a team player. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Responsible for selling our consulting, advisory and technology implementation services

Find and close new accounts including the opportunity to cross-sell all 9Gauge services

Network and develop strong relationships with referral partners and potential clients so they turn to 9Gauge for their technology, accounting, finance, and M&A needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE5-10 years of relevant field sales hunter experience required

Sales experience in consulting services sales, or business development preferably in a solution-oriented business

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is required.

Strong relationship building and track record of selling to C-Suite decision makers

Engaging presentation and speaking skills along with solid writing and active listening skills

Excellent hunting skills and a demonstrated success record of prospecting for new business

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.

Must be based in Austin, TX
