DescriptionICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our work across HHS and NIH. We look for someone who loves to learn and is passionate about their work.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevOps and application development, experience with relevant tools and frameworks, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.Working standard Eastern Time is expected. (100% Remote)What you’ll be doing:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation for applications.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability.

Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure security best practices are followed.

Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Ensure system availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and incident response.

Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency through scripting and tool development.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field: Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

3 or more years’ experience in a DevOps Engineer or related role.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Circle CI, Jenkins).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Requirements:

Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.

Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
