RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a API Business Analyst in Austin, TX.

Summary:The API Business Analyst will be responsible for working with development, 3rd partners, support, legal, and other teams to determine business requirements for features or enhancements to the existing aggregation engine. The role will be responsible for the prioritization of API partner integrations as well as creating the requirements for the integration.

Responsibilities: API Business Analyst will communicate with external parties when necessary to coordinate development between organizations Track the progress of several projects at one time Communicate effectively with product owners and stakeholders to ensure that requirements satisfy business needs and to provide status As an API Business Analyst, you will receive inbound requests from partners for new integrations and data feeds Write up and define specs in collaboration with Product Management team Interface with partners in Product and Relationship Management to keep them informed of the request status Work with Sales to provide support in sales meetings around the technical ability of the product API Business Analysts work with the Development team to check on status and assist in resolving issues that would impact deliverable deadlines Research ways for the company to improve customer service through reviewing resolved tickets. Identify inefficiencies and issues and propose solutions for resolution

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business or similar discipline or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst for Order Management processes 3-5 years of relevant work experience in API development and deployment (understands and has worked with JSON format) Strong understanding of APIs Ability to document user stories and data flows via external APIs is required Able to understand complex business processes and data from multiple business systems Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle Functional knowledge managing requirements and implementing system solutions in areas of Order Management, Orchestration is required Experience with products, pricing and billing systems is preferred, but not required Strong communication skills and ability to interface with both internal and external parties, both written and oral Ability to drive cross functional discussions across global business groups and IT independently Detail oriented and demonstrate ability to analyze complex problem statements Experience working in Agile Methodology PMP Certification a plus Familiarity with project management applications (especially Jira) a plus
