Software Engineering Manager, to join the team located in scenic Austin, Texas! Qualified candidates will live in the Austin, Texas area although the team is working remotely for the time being.

What you get to do:

Manage and mentor a growing team of software engineers focused on UI initiatives
Oversee the development of the company’s new web platform and automated systems
Manage development projects from conception through completion using attention to detail and organizational skills
Collaborate with senior management to gather requirements and architect solutions from scratch
Advocate for Agile development best practices

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field of study

Proven ability to manage and mentor a small to medium-sized team of software engineers
3+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, React.js, and NodeJS
Deep understanding of application state management, database schema, and API design principles
Previous experience with Agile development best practices
Robust communication and collaboration skills as you’ll be interfacing regularly with engineers, designers, and senior management
