Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working with an established organization based in Arlington, Texas on a search for a Corporate Accounting Manager. The aspiring candidate should be proficient in financial software, capable of handling multiple tasks, and skilled in managing all aspects of payroll expenses, preparation of financial statements, and collaboration with diverse departments for accurate financial data.Responsibilities: Analyze financial reports and approve journal entries to record payroll expenses in the General Ledger. Oversee and scrutinize payroll and associated expenses like taxes, holiday pay, deferred compensation, wage garnishments, ESPP, 401k RSU vesting, and health insurance. Compile monthly and quarterly flux worksheets. Conduct reconciliations for payroll-related accounts in the General Ledger. Address unresolved items on various bank reconciliations for payroll accounts. Sustain the GL interface between different financial software systems. Collaborate with the Corporate Payroll Department to ensure precise financial records. Validate and test bespoke reports from financial software when required. Produce audit schedules as needed. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in accounting or a related field.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting, preferably at larger firms.CPA credential or active candidacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate across various business functions.Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to excel in a rapid-paced environment.Capable of fostering productive engagements with multiple stakeholders, including clients, employees, and partners.Outstanding Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in advanced formulas and functions is preferred.This corporate organization offers a competitive compensation package up to $100K, plus Bonus, and benefits.
