The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to join UTA during an exciting period of growth and contribute as the university broadens its impact.Job SummaryOversee all aspects of strength and conditioning for women’s basketball.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement year-round strength and conditioning training programs for women’s basketball.

Work with Assistant AD for Sport Performance and strength staff members to provide growth and development

Distribute nutritional supplements and educate the student-athletes on nutrition.

Coordinate with Assistant AD for Sport Performance on scheduling facility

Collaborate with Women’s Basketball staff regarding the program and progress.

Collaborate with Athletic Training staff to accommodate for any injured athlete and make necessary modifications.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree,

Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, CPR/first aid/AED certified, one (1) year of previous experience in strength and conditioning or the equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree with two (2) years of previous strength and conditioning experience.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesOther RequirementsWorking Conditions

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in good or bad weather conditions.

Some travel is required.
