Ferry Crew Member (Part-Time)

SHIFTS: 5-6 HOURS Starting at $18/HR Plus Tips MONTHLY SCHEDULING OPEN 365 DAYS/YEAR

Water Island Ferry is growing, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our operation. We’re hiring for two part-time positions that help keep our daily service running smoothly: Ferry Crew Member and Ticket & Retail Store Clerk.

What You’ll Do

>> Assist with docking, lines, vessel readiness, and routine deckhand duties

>> Sell ferry tickets dockside with accuracy & a welcoming attitude

>> Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors

>> Support daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks

>> Follow all USCG/COI safety procedures and company protocols

What We’re Looking For

>> Strong customer service and communication skills

>> Basic math ability for ticket sales

>> Professional, dependable demeanor

>> Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs

>> Must enroll in and uphold Drug Consortium Membership

>> Experience on the water is helpful, but not required
