We're looking for a skilled an AM Bar Manager to lead our morning operations and bar service, with a passion for hospitality, team leadership, and creating memorable guest experiences. This is a unique opportunity to combine management responsibilities with bartending, allowing you to earn tips in addition to your salary.

Position Overview:

The AM Bar Manager will oversee morning restaurant operations, manage the bar program, and take on administrative duties to support overall restaurant success. This hands-on role involves bartending during service to engage with guests and enhance the dining experience while leading the team to uphold quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant Operations (AM Manager Duties):

Oversee morning operations, ensuring seamless breakfast and lunch service.

Handle opening procedures, including staffing, scheduling, and preparation for service.

Lead, motivate, and manage front-of-house staff to maintain high service standards.

Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and safety.

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Bar Management/Bartending:

Oversee bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and ensuring a well-stocked bar.

Create and manage the cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.

Bartend during peak hours to deliver exceptional service and engage with guests.

Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and safety standards.

Train and supervise bar staff to provide consistent, high-quality service.

Administrative Duties:

Manage scheduling, payroll reporting, and staff performance reviews.

Track sales, labor costs, and other KPIs to ensure operational efficiency.

Assist with budgeting and financial planning in coordination with senior management.

Collaborate on marketing efforts, including social media content and promotions.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, vendor contracts, and employee training.

Qualifications:

2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant and bar setting.

Proven bartending experience with a strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience in the Caribbean hospitality or tourism industry is a plus.
