We welcome you to apply and join our collaborative, well-established development team.Specific Job Responsibilities: Primary duties include working on a team through the full software development life cycle of design, development, security and testing using various products and technologies in a full stack role. Other duties, such as code optimization, business process analysis, architecture and design. You will be part of a collaborative team of highly skilled professions who embrace innovation and creativity. You will be working closely with project shareholders to help scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement high quality software solutions. Location: Remote work is available, but due to the secure nature of this role, some on-site presence at Y-12 Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN is required. Employees must live within 2 hours driving distance from the plant. A competitive relocation package is available for qualified new hires.Core Responsibilities include: Participate in all aspects of software delivery model; Design, Development, Validation, Delivery, Maintenance. Interface with IT project management to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget. Support technical projects through effective communication with peers, customers and management. Develop and maintain strategy and implement plans for enterprise applications. Keep pace with new technologies and incorporate as appropriate to meet CNS business needs. Ensure solutions are well-engineered, optimized, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, cyber security requirements and software quality assurance processes.What You Can Expect

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

OR Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

OR twelve or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Preferred Job Requirements

Experience with web development using programming languages and frameworks such as C#, JavaScript, JQuery, React, Entity Framework, WebAPI, ASPX.Net, Telerik, etc.

Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational database management systems with experience in SQL and PL/SQL.

Geographic Information Systems technologies such as ArcGIS server and JavaScript API

Web server technologies such as Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat.

Integrated Development Environments such as Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code

Version control tool such as GIT, SVN, or other code repositories.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery with AzureDevOps.

Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment.

Ability to work well in a collaborative, positive team environment.

Experience with ITIL processes and agile development

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
