Project Coordinator Position – JAM Door

At JAM Door, we are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects. Your role will involve managing job site data, entering payroll time, coordinating purchases, and visiting job sites to ensure everything is running efficiently. You’ll work closely with our talented installers and various stakeholders to guarantee successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Enter Payroll Time: Enter payroll time accurately and on time.

Job Site Coordination: Gather and input data related to job site activities and progress.

Purchasing: Handle the procurement of materials and supplies for the company, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory management.

Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any on-site issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, installers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Scheduling: Assist in the creation and management of project timelines to ensure all jobs are completed on time.

Communication: Act as the point of contact between the field teams, clients, and management to facilitate clear and efficient communication.

Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records for all projects, including purchase orders, job site data, payroll entries, and material inventory.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are being followed on job sites.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the coordination of projects.

Skills and Experience

Data Entry Experience: Ability to accurately enter job site data and payroll time.

Procurement Knowledge: Ability to manage purchasing processes, ensuring cost-effective decisions.

Project Coordination Experience: Prior experience in a project coordinator role, ideally within the construction or commercial door industry.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, vendors, and clients.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry, scheduling, and purchasing tasks.

Site Experience: Knowledge of site safety protocols and hands-on experience with project coordination.

Technical Knowledge (Preferred but Not Required): Experience with reading blueprints and understanding mechanical systems related to doors.
