Data Engineer

Description:Data Engineer within our Enterprise Systems will work with Lead Data Engineer, Product Owners and Solution/Enterprise Architect Teams on new solutions that seamlessly integrate both the back end of a website and/or application. The applicant must have an in-depth knowledge of design of modern programming languages & web technologies, backend infrastructure & databases, and AWS cloud services to be effective.Top Skills' Details1. 3

3+ years AWS Cloud experience (Redshift / Lambda / Glue / Athena / Airflow)

Experience with Azure cloud (Databricks / Dynamics)

3+ years supporting Databases / Database migrations (Postgres / Redshift / MySQL / Dynamics )

A majority of their time will be spent within Postgres/Redshift and APIs (NodeJS / Python). Will be supporting an AWS / Azure migration using Kafka as the solution. Will be responsible for supporting a legacy application on MySQL while the team prepares for the migration efforts.Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of AWS experience.

AWS Serverless, Cloud Security, DevOps, Containers

Knowledgeable in SQL/NOSQL; Redshift

Knowledge in modern data engineering languages: Python, Step Functions, Lambda, Pyspark, R and Glue

Ability to build API integration with Angular/React Material for front end development.

Collaborating with team members, Product Managers, subject matter experts, and other teams to refine requirements and translate into functional software using standardized coding techniques and conventions.

Knowledgeable about all development life cycle phases and solution delivery for cloud systems with experience in unit, integration testing and strong documentation.

Ability to work hybrid work schedule (remote & onsite from our Nashville office)

Must be authorized to work in the United States
