Description We are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team in NASHVILLE, Tennessee. This role presents a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing our company's financial records, such as sales, purchases, payments, and receipts. Key responsibilities: Manage and maintain all aspects of bookkeeping including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Handle data entry tasks and generate financial reports for review Utilize QuickBooks for the execution of various accounting tasks Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently Process payroll for employees in the organization Use Microsoft Excel to track and analyze data Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial documents Maintain organized, up-to-date, and accurate record keeping systems Provide support to other team members on all company financial matters. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) are required Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is necessary Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and speed Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close processes is essential Knowledge and experience in Payroll management is a must Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar financial software is required Demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
