Project Manager- Audit for Software Engineering projects
Tennessee, Nashville, 37201 Nashville USADescription We are on the lookout for a dedicated Project Manager for our Software Engineering projects based in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in overseeing the complete delivery of projects involving web, API, and mobile app development, with a particular focus on meeting security and compliance standards specific to the financial services sector. Utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure DevOps, you will be expected to ensure that the software aligns with industry regulations, data privacy standards, and audit requirements. Responsibilities: Lead project planning, sprint execution, and delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and collaboration within the team. Utilize Azure DevOps for efficient management of project backlogs, work items, CI/CD pipelines, and releases. Oversee and ensure that all projects adhere to financial industry security standards, including data privacy, encryption, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Take charge of and manage regular compliance audits for the software, ensuring it meets internal and external standards for security and legal compliance. Foster cross-functional collaboration with development teams, QA, product owners, security experts, and financial compliance officers to ensure successful project delivery and audit readiness. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, security measures, and compliance adherence. Proactively identify project risks, especially those related to security and compliance, and work with teams to implement mitigation strategies. Mentor teams on Agile practices, security considerations, and compliance needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring that security and compliance efforts are fully integrated into project plans. Utilize industry knowledge to ensure that product development aligns with financial sector best practices and regulatory requirements. Requirements Holds a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing software engineering projects, specifically in an audit capacity. Proficient with Atlassian Jira, Cisco Technologies, and Cloud Technologies. Demonstrates strong knowledge of CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Familiar with the use of About Time and AB Testing tools. Experienced in Agile Scrum methodologies. Has a strong grasp over Budget Processes, Change Management, and Audit procedures. Specializes in Audit - Financial, Audit - Information Systems, and Annual Internal Audit. Competent in using Azure DevOps. Knowledgeable in PCI Compliance, PCI DSS, PCI-DSS and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Familiarity with SOC and Financial data is necessary. Proven experience in Budgeting, Budget monitoring, and Managing Budgets is essential. This role demands high detail oriented ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver projects within the stipulated deadlines. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and detail oriented conduct is a must. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
