If so, Amazon Rapid Rural Logistics is looking for you. The Team is looking for a Network Planning Supply Chain Manager to design how Amazon scales across North America.Candidates for the Network Planning Supply Chain Manager role must be effective cross-functional leaders. They must be capable of diving deep into data while simultaneously thinking big, building long-term strategic designs that optimize for cost, coverage, speed, and, most importantly, Customer experience. The candidate must be able to communicate these designs and strategic visions, influencing leadership across retail, transportation operations, and technology teams.Key job responsibilities

Knowledge to quickly understand and assess simulation results and the business impact of trends to make the best decisions based on available data

Define metrics to measure transportation performance and drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce non-value added work

Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis

Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered

Problem solve and design solutions for Amazon's transportation network, support large scale transportation programs

5+ years of program/project management experience in related industry (transportation, logistics, supply chain).

5+ years of experience defining and communicating strategic initiatives with heavy emphasis in data analytics and forecasting.

5+ years of experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Intermediate level of Excel, programming and data-base management.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience defining transportation and logistics expansion plans.

5+ years of experience in transportation or supply chain capacity planning, network design, or network planning.

The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.
