Field Collection Technician $22 - We Train

National data collection company is looking to fill several GIS Field Technician positions throughout Knoxville, TN.

No prior experience is needed. GIS Technicians will receive thorough training on all equipment, software, and procedures used for the safe and accurate collection of data.

NDS FIELD DATA TECHNICIAN DUTIES:

o Utilize GPS technology to collect field data in a safe and efficient manner.

o Collaborate with team members on project requirements and deliverables.

o Drive to various project sites as needed for data collection or device installation.

o Walk about 2 to 6 miles per day depending on that day's routes

o Upload or email the collected data to the company per company specifications.

o Communicate via email any issues encountered in the field immediately upon occurrence.

o Maintain field equipment to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly.

o Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills are needed for this position.

NDS FIELD QUALIFICATIONS:

o Excellent communication

o Valid driver's license

o Clean driving record

o Must be able to pass a drug test

o Basic knowledge of computers (downloading, attaching files to e-mail)

o Own a personal computer and smartphone

o Good sense of direction

o Ability to walk 2-6 miles per day depending on that day's routes

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $22.00 per hour | plus mileage reimbursement

Expected hours: 40 per week (hourly) Most schedules are Mon. thru Fri. 8am to 5pm (may be some flexibility with days but 40 hours per week needed)
