Cash Application Accountant

The purpose of this job is to classify, examine, and analyze accounting records, prepare related financial reports and statements for management, and handle moderately complex accounting duties.Essential Functions: Perform general accounting activities including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of certain leger accounts relating to Accounts ReceivableReconciliation of cash, chargeback, and receivable accounts, including research and follow-up of outstanding items.Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.Oversee and approve certain journal entries, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and validating those transactions with bank reportingConduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects.Perform special projects as assigned.
