Tennessee, Knoxville, 37901 Knoxville USADescription We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in KNOXVILLE, Tennessee. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our finance department, handling tasks related to accounts payable and driving process improvements. This role serves a vital function, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations and the integrity of our accounting data.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounts payable department and act as a technical lead Process complex transactions and ensure they align with the general ledger Handle check runs and ACH payments Work with foreign currency exchange Onboard new vendors into the system and manage vendor relationships Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable data Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the accounts payable department Drive process improvements within the accounts payable department Use Microsoft Excel, SAP, and SyteLine for various financial tasks and data entry Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Process invoices accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit recordsThe positions will offer light hybrid capabilities once training is completed. Must live in the local Knoxville area.For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interviewRequirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficiency required in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices is essential Strong Data Entry skills required Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and reporting Experience with SAP and SyteLine is desirable Must be able to Research Discrepancies and Resolve Discrepancies effectively Experience in KPI Reporting for performance measurement and strategic planning is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
