IT Software Release Specialist SrJob Title: IT Software Release Specialist SrExpected Duration: 6 Months Location:Memphis, TNEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMaintain Integrity of a variety of Progress Code bases.Review code changes committed for outliers.Follow and enforce processes for code commits, commit messages, project and defect approvals, and release procedures.Monitor code commits and merge to QA as appropriate.Manually compile code, upon request.Trouble shoots compilation errors, as needed.Work closely with members of our team - and members of other IT Teams - to resolve any issues occurring after a release.Triage software vs. environment issues vs. data issues.Scripting as needed to improve processes.Maintain multiple QA environments that are multi-system and multi-interface.Monitor support ticket queue and investigate/resolve issuesPull data, load data, and remove data based on project needs while meeting IT Security requirementsTrouble shoot and resolve environment issues that arise - working with team members - and members of other IT Teams.Maintenance tasks as required/requested.Qualifications:High attention to detail. Support Experience / Customer Service Skills Strong communication skills. Experience using Unix/Linux/AIX from command line. Excellent Interpersonal skills. Ability to self-start and work independently, while still keeping the team updated. Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
