Senior Payroll Specialist

The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end payroll function. This

role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing, provides technical and operational support on the

PaySpace system. He / she will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance with South African

legislation, and continuous improvement of payroll processes. This role ensures compliance with SARS, UIF,

BCEA, and other statutory requirements while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent service to

employees.Key Responsibilities:Run management and tax compliance on PaySpace (understanding SARS source codes).Prepare monthly EMP201’s, bi-annual and annual EMP501’s.Assist with payroll audits and ensure full compliance with company policies and BCEA; Identifydiscrepancies and implement corrective measures promptly. Provide payroll-related support and advice to employees and management.Validate payroll input data, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate monthly payroll processingusing PaySpace.Maintain and safeguard all payroll records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality.Stay updated on legislative changes and system upgrades impacting payroll.
