Logistics operations Consultant

Title: Logistics operations -Sourcing Location: Greenville, SC ( initial remote will be offered)

• Strategic thinking and influencing on logistics operations
• Involvement in Transport Budgeting and cost reduction
• Data Collection & Compilation of Validated Comprehensive Bid Responses by Logistics Service Providers and/or Identification of Best Logistics Option
• Maintain transport agreement , contracts & tracker ( SPOT shipments )
• Initiatives to add new Transporter for cost optimization and better execution-
• Complete RFQ process for non-contracted lane
• Distribution/Notification of Contractual Awards to Corresponding Logistics Service Provider Base and Finalization of Contracts and Booking information via Submission to Corresponding Service Providers, Operations Teams and/or System of Record.
• Complete PO, PR and PO release -
• Maintain contracts and rate information in appropriate systems of record ( Rate contract & SOW )
• Data Collection (to support Supplier Monitoring and Evaluation, and Sourcing activities such as volume estimates for RFQ, Financial reporting cycles, etc.)
• Sourcing - Port relating activities & ITO
• Distribution of ITO/OTR RFQs to Corresponding Base of Logistics Service Providers via Business, Commodity, Equipment, or Scope of Work-Specific Distribution Lists.
• Compilation of Validated Comprehensive Bid Responses by Logistics Service Providers and/or Identification of Best Logistics Option.
• Distribution/Notification of Contractual Awards to Corresponding Logistics Service Provider Base and Finalization of Contracts and Booking information via Submission to Corresponding Service Providers, Operations Teams and/or System of Record.
• Complete RFQ process for non-contracted lane
• Logistics Purchase Order reconciliation and Keep Track of open and closed purchase orders .
• Logistics planning - Inbound and International projects ; ITO - OTR .
• Maintain of MSA/MNDA/Transport Agreement/SOW documentation for each LSP
