Operator Trainee I

Follows safety procedures.
Reports any unsafe conditions to the Team Leader or Department Manager.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of employees.
Understands all actions on JHAs for position and performs all essential care.
Production
Safety always takes priority over production.
Achieves production goals for waste, output, and make readies.
Ensures all DMS checklists and documentation is filled out completely and correctly.
Check trays for non-conforming issues (bad scores, cuts, poor prints etc)
Sets up proper delivery for every job.
Performs Operator duties when needed.
Sets print to cut register.
Fills out daily production report.
Changes Askew belts
Sets up the askew
Sets eye marks.
Sets stripper wires.
Able to do everything that an Operator trainee 2 does.
Installs pin cylinder.
Sets up stacker.
Quality
Maintains excellent product quality.
Ensures control plan is adhered to.
Maintenance
Can assist in maintenance of machine when necessary.
Housekeeping
Assists with housekeeping of machine.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment in their assigned area.
Machinery
Assists Operators with preventative maintenance.
Assists Operators with troubleshooting problems on the machinery.
