South Carolina, Greenville / upstate, 29601 Greenville / upstate USADescription: What You Will Be DoingThis position is part of the Quality Management team supporting F-35 aircraft Contractor Logistics Support and maintenance operations at Grottaglie Naval Air Station, Italy. The position is responsible for conducting routine and Safety of Flight Process Compliance and Maintenance Standard Evaluations to ensure compliance with applicable technical data, engineering drawings and contractual requirements to provide aircraft that are in good mechanical condition and safe to fly. The position also requires support of Italian aircraft carrier when deployed.Additional requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Requires experience in inspection of aircraft ground handling/servicing; component removal/replacement; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) execution.- Requires the ability to evaluate process compliance, write/review Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) reports, perform root cause analysis and validate quality plans, processes and responses.- Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, and trends including failed process, recalls, corrective actions, and validations.- Requires ability to identify and understand non-conformities as they relate to Safety-of-Flight inspections, procedural breakdowns, and program (process) audits.- Must be able to work any shift as required to support customer, including weekends.- Must be able to travel to support customer needs.- Must have a valid driver’s license.- Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting- Must be a U.S. citizen. We know that our success depends on the combined efforts of diverse-thinkers like you!Basic Qualifications:- At least 5 years of recent (within the past 10 years) maintenance experience on military aircraft.- Have a minimum two years of Quality Assurance experience, USMC/Navy Level 4 MATMEP and/or ASM T&R Quality Assurance 3000 level rating with CDI/CDQAR/QAR qualification (or equivalent experience) or USAF 5 level or higher skill rating.- Experienced in inspection of aircraft and ground handling/servicing support equipment; component removal/replacement; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD) executionDesired Skills:- Undergraduate Degree in relevant studies at an accredited university- Fifth gen fighter aircraft (F-35 or F-22) experience in Modification, Maintenance and/or Quality Assurance roles.- Working knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that includes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), writing or processing Action Requests (AR), use of Joint Technical Data (JTD), Autonomic Fault Resolution System (AFRS).- Familiar with DCMA Instruction 8210-1 associated in aircraft ground operations and maintenance procedures.- Familiar with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101 and/or OPNAV 4790 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) instructions.- Experience with Process Control Surveillance Program inspections and associated data base.- Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) internal audit processes.- Possess effective communication skills for coordinating with Aircraft Managers/Supervisors, Field Service Reps, System Engineers, Maintenance Logistics Support Managers, Customer (DCMA/GCQA), COR/QAE and maintainers regarding quality issues, Instrumentation System Integration, Deficiency Analysis/Reporting, customer complaints, and other issues related to higher quality as they occur.- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings/instructions; system schematics/blueprints; and technical policy/maintenance instructions.- Excellent organizational, administration, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
