BAS/BMS Project Engineer

Description:Mission/Purpose of the Position (why the job exists within the organization) This position is typically held by an individual that has at at least 3+ years experience as a Systems Engineer II, III or related industry knowledge; strong customer service skills. This individual should have an advanced understanding of HVAC mechanical systems, Security systems, building operating systems, DDC systems and have the ability to analyze control system drawings, control sequences and schematics. This position is responsible for the overall turnkey design, installation, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshooting using detailed company guidelines. Performs moderately complex customer support activities for equipment and systems products. Ensures that each project assigned reaches final completion on time and is implemented at or below the estimated cost in the approved sales estimate. Work experience 3 - 5 years. Works under direct supervision of a Construction manager or Project manager.Skills:AutomationTop Skills Details:AutomationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Review engineer's design per plan and specifications. Review Hardware Design submittals Oversee and coordinate subcontractors on related projects Able to create and update system pages Validate hardware and project installations Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software Prepare customer-training manuals and provide customized training to customers as needed Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components as well as troubleshoot software and hardware issues Participate in field audits and related analysis and results and performance assurance of installed systems Over see the onsite day-to-day activities of the project Train and mentor lower level field techniciansExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
