Scope of position:To coordinate and ensure smooth and efficient flow in the department.  To provide Financial and Administrative support to the maintenance department. To build and maintain a highly effective support desk function within the department. Always act in a professional manner using the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Responsibilities:You must be able to prioritize, organize and be self-efficient.Able to perform under pressure.Telephone etiquette and guest/supplier/staff liaisonManage an efficient Engineering HelpdeskManage the Engineering department calendar and roster to provision for work/inspections or projectsEffectively communicating to stakeholders on job cards & projects. Transcendent, Alice & Opera are amongst the tools to be used.Maintenance controls in line with budgets, relating to revenue, cost ratio and expenses.Procuring of stocks and stores.Responsible for stock-takes and par levels.Compile monthly usage reports within the department and reportCompilation and analysis of report data and statistics.System, process, standards, protocols, procedures implemented, audits / monitored and corrective actions taken, which would include service recoveries.Filing and general administrationHave a thorough knowledge of the hotel and all services provided to the guests.Ability to work flexible hours when required.
