We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice or Lead Carpenter to join our team. Seeking a candidate for an entry-level position (ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction field while learning valuable skills from experienced carpenters) OR a Lead Carpenter who is self-starting, motivated, and initiates tasks independently on the job. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various tasks related to carpentry, including installation, restoration, and finishing work on residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Assist skilled carpenters in the construction and installation of structures, frameworks, and fixtures.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Participate in flooring installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
Assist with construction painting tasks to ensure a professional finish on projects.
Help with wood stud framing as required for various building applications.
Support the restoration industry by learning techniques for repairing and restoring structures.
Residential remodels
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
A strong interest in carpentry and construction with a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of construction estimating is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry is advantageous.
Ability to plumb structures accurately as part of the building process.
Experience or knowledge in flooring installation techniques is beneficial.
Understanding of construction painting methods is preferred.
Capability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
Previous experience in the restoration industry or metal stud framing is a plus but not mandatory.
Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $20.60 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
