Job Description: The Back Server is a valuable member of Gracie’s service team. This person helps to provide a memorable dining experience at Gracie’s, supporting servers and making sure service runs smoothly. The ideal candidate has a passion for food and beverage, enjoys making connections with guests, and can uphold Gracie’s high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Delivering a consistently high level of customer service to each guest

-Serving food to guests and engaging with them about what is being served

-Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the dinner menu and tasting menu, including allergy and ingredient information

-Organizing and delivering necessary markings to guests

-Preparing coffee and tea orders efficiently and accurately, upholding Gracie’s standards

-Participating in team education on food, beverage, and service

-Clearing, cleaning, and resetting each table after the guest leaves in accordance with the Gracie’s SOP

-Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, and upholding Gracie’s Venture cleanliness standards, and RI Health Codes

-Maintaining TIPS Certification

-Participating in creative conversations for future improvements and goals in an open forum

Metrics of Success

Success in this role can be measured by the following criteria:

-Satisfying and memorable guest experiences

-Consistently demonstrating detailed knowledge of Gracie’s culinary and beverage menus

-Positive and productive attitude and professional demeanor

-Positive and professional communication with teammates and guests alike

Compensation:

This position is an hourly position, plus additional gratuity. We are open Wed.-Sun. Base pay starts at $15-$16/hr. based on experience.
