Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and personable team members for our multi-faceted Bakery. As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing and serving a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other beverages. In addition to crafting delicious drinks, you will contribute to the overall ambiance of our bakery, engaging with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.

- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular cleaning of equipment and brewing stations.

- Take customer orders with a friendly demeanor, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu offerings.

- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and issuing receipts.

- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.

- Assist with bakery operations as needed, including restocking supplies, packaging baked goods, and maintaining inventory levels.

- Engage with customers in a welcoming and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and uphold the high standards of service.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.

- Proficiency in (or willing to learn) espresso machine operation and other coffee equipment.

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and drink preparation.

- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.

- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

- Passion for coffee and a desire to contribute to the success of our bakery.
